To commemorate the historical significance of March 25th and leveraging the potential of virtual reality (VR), the Cultural Foundation of the Piraeus Group approached us to digitize the special exhibition ‘REVOLUTION ’21,’ which was co-organized with the National Historical Museum across Ioannina, Dimitsana, and Chios in the year 2021.

 

Our objective involves creating a digital avatar of the physical exhibition and refining it to provide users, who will access it from the comfort of their own homes, an experience akin to a personal visit to the actual exhibition. Within the digital realm we have crafted, you can freely navigate the space, appreciate all the exhibits, read their accompanying descriptions, and consult the maps. Most notably, you can immerse yourself in the 3D interactive representation of the bowsprit of Bouboulina’s ship, just as if you were physically present in front of it.

 

For users equipped with VR headsets, the digital encounter evolves into a virtual experience, allowing them to engage with the environment surrounding them.
